Why is this issue a global one? What is the main problem?
Torture is a global issue because there are some countries in the world and everybody has the same rights. The main problem is that those countries are fighting against human rights.
How is this issue affecting the world?
Torture is affecting the world because some people do not treat some people as equals.
What is being done to stop, prevent or fix this issue?
President Obama is trying to shut down Guantanamo Bay by the end of the year.

Our chosen area is Guantanamo Bay in Cuba. The base has had a detention area in the base since 2002. It was used for holding possible terrorists from around the world. There is photo evidence that when the prisoners, who are Muslim pray, they must be blindfolded and have their ears covered so they cannot communicate with each other. Though some prisoners were released not all were really innocent. There is still 245 detainees left in Guantanamo Bay left and won’t be freed at the latest, December.

What do I propose to do?
I propose to find a way to reduce the poverty in Nigeria, because in the state the world is right now and the situation everybody is in, stopping it completely is impossible.
The parts of my plan:
The purpose- Why am I doing this action?
I am doing this action because I want to try and raisestandard of living around the world and try to lower poverty in general, not try to completely stop it.
The message- Why should people be informed about this issue?
People should be informed about this issue because a large majority of the top 2% of the rich world is aware of poverty but not actively aware of how they live. If we inform people about this issue a lot will have their eyes opened and try to reach out and help them.
A short-term plan for achieving my goal (remember is should be kept simple and not too ambitious- again make sure it CAN actually be done).What do I propose to do?
A small fundraiser with donations that seek simple donations such as toiletries that can be given to the poverty of Indonesia.
A long-term plan for achieving my goal.What is my long-term plan?
My long term plan is to slowly raise the donations, starting with simple and small donations that will help them build a foundation, giving them a start so they can make their own way from there.

We can first take action by setting up fund raisers, even though we can’t completely eradicate poverty we can start small, since small things can eventually become big things, we can start by finding international schools that can donate simple toiletries and then start while they can make a start themselves with the donations, we can help them be on their way.
